In Other Words
Happy Friday, everyone! We made it through the week. Great effort by all and three cheers for the weekend! How did your week go? I hope it was wonderful and productive, but good or bad, let’s leave it in the past and get ready for a fabulous weekend! Enjoy the beautiful autumn weather and some much needed time to relax. Take a look at some of the fun fall crafts we’ve been posting about and get creative and unwind with a great project.
To start things off, here are some words of wisdom from a few inspiring creators. Whenever I’m low on motivation (usually getting focused on Monday or de-stressing on Friday) or just need a good kick in the pants to get started, I love turning to quotes by artists I admire. It reminds me of the importance of art (even my doodles or crafts) and the impulse to create. So without further ado, I give you my second edition of some wise words to start your weekend right…
“Life is trying things to see if they work.” - Ray Bradbury
“Painting is just another way of keeping a diary.” - Pablo Picasso
“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” - Maya Angelou
"There are more valid facts and details in works of art than there are in history books." - Charlie Chaplin
"There is no must in art because art is free." - Wassily Kandinsky
Now get to your craft room, easel, or kitchen table and go be free. Have a relaxing, fun – and above all – creative weekend!
